iOS 6Why I cannot save cards in the phonebook?

Due to the new privacy policies from iOS 6, it will reject the three-party's app to access your iPhone contacts without your allowance. Therefore you will be asked if you allow CamCard to access your contacts for the first time you run it.

If you need to save the cards to iPad contacts, please enter iPad settings -> privacy -> contacts -> find “CamCard” and turn on the option.

If you don't have this need, please just do not turn on this option.

Why failed to recognize the business card?

Please capture the photo in a good condition of ample light.

Please tap the screen to let the camera focus before capturing photo, and try not to shake the camera while capturing photo.

Please make sure you have selected the languages you need to recognize in Settings.

If your business card still cannot be recognized, please send the image to us ([email protected]), to help us investigate the problem and improve our app. Thank you.

How to save the cards into iPad Contacts?

When you recognize the new business card, please click [Account Selection] in the recognition result screen, and select [host] or [iCloud] to save the card into iPad Contacts.

If the scanned cards are already saved into the Card Holder, please select these cards, and then click [Export] to export them into System Contacts.

How to sync the cards into Google contacts?

Firstly please make sure that your Google Contacts is synced with iPad system contacts.

Then when you save the business card in CamCard, please select your Google account in [Account Selection] to save the card information into Google contacts.

Why capturing photo is not available for my iPad?

Due to the camera of iPad 2 cannot capture a clear photo for the business card, which might affect the accuracy of the recognition. Please use other camera to capture card images and then import them into iPad to recognize. Or if you are using iPhone or Android phone, please visit camcard.com on your phone to download and install CamCard.

Why SMS cannot be sent or received?

This feature requires your iPad is using iOS 5 or above, and turn on iMessage meanwhile. (If the receiver is not using iMessage, the SMS cannot be received, please check your SMS status in the system SMS program.)

Why register CamCard account?

With the registration of CamCard, your cards will be encrypted and saved in the Cloud: secure, private, and never get lost. You are able to restore your cards easily even though they somehow got deleted.

If you need to change the device, just log in your CamCard account on the new device, the cards will be transferred instantly.

Why failed to sync the business cards?

If you failed to sync the business cards consistently, please send the log to us in CamCard Settings, and tell us which country and city you stay, and which connection type you are using.
